Curiosity has
always been
the thread.
A life across cultures.
A practice at the meeting point of
science, creativity and contemplation.
A respect for
our complexity.
My drive comes from a respect for the complexity of human experience and the many ways we find meaning.
I bring together academics with a lifelong curiosity about people and their stories. I am interested in how we make sense of our lives, how we relate to others, and what can happen when experience is met with attention.
Psychology and neuroscience inform my work. So do creativity, contemplative practice, and the natural world. These are connected threads in the way I approach being human, rather than separate identities to choose between.
A life across cultures has made me attentive to context: the places, relationships and histories that shape us. My aim is to make room for yours.
A little space.
A different
perspective.
Learning is
an ongoing practice.
Clinical study, research, creative practice and contemplation each inform the work.
