A page without a plan.

A simple invitation to make marks before searching for meaning.

A reflection

A quiet detail of hands, fabric and foliage

Begin with what is nearby

Find a piece of paper and one material you would like to use. A pencil is enough. You do not need an idea, a subject or a finished picture in mind.

Let attention lead

Make a mark. Notice its weight, direction or texture. Add another if you want to. Leave room for pauses. You can stop at any point; there is no prescribed outcome.

Look before explaining

When you feel ready, set the page a little further away. Notice what draws your attention. You might give it a title, write one sentence beside it, or leave it exactly as it is.

Keep the meaning your own

A mark does not have one fixed psychological meaning. This is an invitation to curiosity, rather than a way to interpret or diagnose yourself. You decide what, if anything, the page says to you.

These reflections are offered for general exploration. They do not replace individual psychological care.
