The quiet art of noticing.
An invitation to meet a familiar place with a little more attention.
A place you already know
You do not have to travel far to notice something new. A garden, a familiar path, a tree outside a window or a patch of changing light can be enough.
Choose one sense
If it feels comfortable, let your attention settle on a sound, a colour or a texture. There is no need to notice everything. Stay with one detail for as long or as briefly as you wish.
Let the place be itself
You do not need to find a lesson, feel calm or turn the moment into something useful. The place can simply be there, and so can you.
Carry one detail back
Before moving on, choose one detail you would like to remember. A shape, a movement, a particular shade of green. Later, you might write a few words or make a small sketch of it.
These reflections are offered for general exploration. They do not replace individual psychological care.
